Micro-Community Initiative (Beta)

Micro-Community INITIATIVE

Background
Studies have shown a very strong correlation with the feeling of being actively involved in the Jewish community and continued Jewish Identity. Being that typical communal activities are done in rather large settings (think synagogue, bar-mitsvah’s, funerals), many do not feel a personal direct connection to others Jews on a Jewish level.

The JVP is interested in partnering with organizations interested in engaging community members in smaller more intimate settings, hence the term “micro-communities”

Jewish Value and Source “Al tifrosh min hatzibur,” (Don’t distance yourself from the community) Avot 2:5
